GASP 2024 Spanking Party – Day 3, Part 1

Starting The Day

After sleeping in the previous day, we all were up pretty early for day 3 of the GASP spanking party in Atlanta.

Funny enough too, despite plenty of spanking the two previous days – we all were in full-blown spanko moods. Our floor was booked strictly by party guests, with no other guests from the hotel allowed. That meant privacy – thus we literally could hear the sounds of multiple spankings echoing throughout the halls.

So, we decided to add to the chorus. Actually turned out to be a good deal more than mild warm-up type spankings… as that is just what the mood was!

Rey gets a morning spanking on Day 3

After our morning spanking fun, we headed out to a restaurant about 10 minutes down the road to get a solid breakfast with plenty of protein. Beautiful area too, with lots of things to do – you know, if one weren’t so busy with all this spanking.

The Vendor Fair

By the time we got back, it was time for the vendor fair. This is often one of the highlights of a large spanking party and we were really looking forward to it. We had put off buying any sort of toys.

And we were glad we waited as this vendor fair did not disappoint.

Set up in a massive room within the hotel, which was plenty big enough to hold hundreds of dinner guests on a normal night, this had wall-to-wall vendors.

First up on our list was a quality flogger. Both girls are totally into being flogged. We don’t have any quality ones at home, just a couple of cheap ‘Adam and Eve’ type things. We wanted to change that.

We spent about 45 minutes walking around and looking as there were a lot of options. We’d worried there would be none at the fair, and the problem almost turned out to be too much.

We ended up picking a flogger from Soaring Eagle Creations, owned by Mark Armondi.

Mark was very helpful and patient. Zero pressure whatsoever. His focus was on helping us find exactly what we wanted, a flogger offering a lot of thud. Mark tested it out on Rey and Autumn just so they were sure. Todd took a turn swinging it, so he could feel if he liked it from the giving end.

We will be adding more to our collection, but we now own one high-quality flogger.

Vendor Fair – London Tanners

Flogger in hand, our next mission was to find some quality leather implements. We are well stocked with enough wood implements to weather the zombie apocalypse.

Of our current leather implements, the favorites far and away come from The London Tanners. However, the founder, Ian Head, had sold his business and retired (and then sadly passed away a few years ago).

We have talked with spanko friends who shared that the new owner continues with the old world, high-quality techniques that made TLT famous.

That was the first table we checked out – and we ran into a huge problem. There was way too much awesome stuff to pick from! We could have blown through our implement budget for a decade there in under 5 minutes, no problem.

Met again with great customer service, we were allowed to test out whatever we liked. No pressure, just helpful insights. Really friendly, and such a nice and neat experience.

We ended up picking two leather paddles (or maybe it is a paddle and a ‘slapper’?).

The paddle is extremely firm and solid, providing almost pure thud. The paddle/slapper offers a ton of sting. A great little combo.

And for free, TLT threw in a ruler sized slapper. Definitely works for OTK play and it can fin in the pocket which is cool.

For us though, it will be a hand/palm slapper. Don’t have anything close to something like that – but it will be a fun option especially for a school role-play option.

Speaking of school role-play spankings, an authentic looking school paddle was also on our list. No luck there though. The options that looked right were simply too heavy / bulky and then the options that offered the right feel just didn’t look right – they were TOO nice. So that search continues.

We did add some super nice leather restraints though. The wrist restraints we found were the most comfortable we have ever seen/felt. Someone could be in them for over an hour and in no way be feeling the wrong kind of pain – whereas the stuff we had would start hurting in a bad way within a few minutes. The same with the ankle restraints we bought – super comfortable. Easy to use, they look great and offer common sense safety features (like the ability to get out if say your top has a heart attack).
